NEWS ALERT:


Between 3AM and 3PM on Sunday, Auigust 20, 2006, someone stole my vehicle known as a 2006 Refurbished Kulana Makamaka. The license plate (on the back has an Indiana license platethat says "NOSIRGIFTS".  It has the attachment to a bicycle basket on the front. Also it has a brake lever on the right handle bar.

UPDATE: August 22, 2006 7:15 AM: Over 100 missing flyers have been posted across Marion. However, here is a timeline of the last hours the vehicle was seen.

Here are the last known wereabouts of bicycle in question.

9:30 a.m. Saturday 8/19/06, vehicle was seen at Big Lots Plaza, 1500 block of South Western Aveneue
10:00 a.m. Saturday 8/19/06, vehicle was seen at Saint Martins Community Center, 901 South Branson Aveneue
10:30 a.m. Saturday 8/19/06, vehicle was seen at Salvation Arny Thrift Store, 3116 South Washington Street (during a carnival)
6:30 p.m. Saturday 8/19/06, vehicle was seen at Aldi, 2007 South Western Avenue
7:30 p.m. Saturday 8/19/06, vehicle was seen at Low Bobs Discount Tobvacco, 3225 South Adams Street
4:21 p.m. Sunday 8/20/06, 2900 block of South Carey Street, theft of bicycle from residence was reported.

According to my news-gathering parners WMRI-FTV and The Marion Chronicle-Tribune, another bike theft was reported at around 7:00 PM that Sunday evening. WMRI-FTV is reporting that they could be related.

I was not the only person who had my vehicle stolen. Three others were stolen from the following areas according to Marion Police.

5:33 p.m. 8/20/06, 2900 block of South McClure Street, theft of bicycle from residence.

7:02 p.m. 8/20/06, 4100 block of South Washington Street, theft of two bicycles from residence.
